Going to Curacao

My friend Laura and I are finally moving ahead with our vacation plans to Willemstad, Curacao. I almost thought it wasn't going to happen—we've both been focused on other things, but we recently discussed Airbnb options, which may be cheaper for us. When we went to Puerto Rico together we booked a hotel and flight bundle deal through Expedia. While we enjoyed the overall trip to PR, it could have been better. This time, we feel a little more seasoned as travelers and we're sure we can manage staying at an Airbnb and renting a car to explore the island of Curacao. In PR, we got a car rental last minuet and got lost on our way to and from the mall, Plaza las America.

I'm really excited for this trip because I'm bringing my camera  along. I bought the Sony A6000 a few months ago after a lot of research. It's the nicest camera I've ever had. I've been looking for some lenses to buy before the trip so I can try them out on the island. There are also some cool camera applications I want to try out. Over the next couple of weeks I'm going to be getting things in order. I'll have to get some help with editing when I return with my footage and learn as much as I can in the process. I feel like I'm going overseas to shoot a music video. I pray to God everything goes smooth and works out for the best. I cannot wait to see the finished production. I sincerely thank God for allowing to get to this point in my life. Lord knows I just want to see my dreams become reality.

We ended up booking a hotel/flight package through Expedia. We snagged a decent deal but we'll know for sure once we arrive. I'm glad we didn't rush things, it all came together.
