Moving to Albany!

A lot of nothing (and something) has happened within the past week. A lot of waiting, for one, but definitely a lot of growing. I have so many changes I'm looking forward to with this new year--mainly gaining some independence and becoming self-sufficient. I'm heading up to Albany to FINALLY start my internship! I've been very excited about this experience, but not so much what I'm about to go through getting settled in my own place. I'm going into to this with will power and determination, but I do expect that things won't be easy. Things are getting pretty interesting in my life. I'm turning 22 in about 2 weeks! I'm excited for that because I would like to really treat my self to a cool night out. I want a cake too. Not sure exactly what I want it to look like, but definitely something cute and simple... with candles!! And maybe some sparkle. I just want to have a cool beer maybe, or some wine and have a good dinner and just be grateful. My birthday falls on a Monday this year and I'll have to be at the office the next morning, so I can't get too crazy. I was going to talk about the New York Times tour I went on with the New Paltz Oracle, but I'm cutting it close to catching my bus! I have to get ready, and gather all my stuff. I don't know how this is going to work out...
